Test Flight and Development Centre (TFDC)

Major Johan Jacobs is currently designing the new Generation Cheetah D model. He is also used as a test pilot for the TFDC and is also one of the test pilots on the current Cheetah D Project. He is also qualified to fly the GRipen D and Hawk 120 for the TFDC. He also test various other technology for the TFDC

2nd Squadron (Flying Cheetah's)

Major Johan "Jakes" Jacobs is a reserve fighter pilot for 2nd Squadron and can be called up for active duty at any time. He fly's the Gripen C and D variant. He is also qualified in flying the Cheetah C and D, which is also used within this squadron.

SAAF Museum & Historic Flight

Major Johan "Jakes" Jacobs has made himself available as display pilot for the SAAF museum.
